    <summary type="html">Though I understand your comment and concern, I was only asking people to not go to Powell St. and shop at corporate chain stores. The brief invite to the event in no way stated "made locally," though I do think that we all need to think about things like this around the holidays. You bring up a topic that needs to be addressed and discussed, so I hope others have opinions of their own.&#xD;
&#xD;
I am only a CELLspace volunteer and am trying to do my best to get the word out that the space isn't empty all the time, so had no direct contact with the organizers of this event. I also did not have any information for their event (posted on cellspace.org by another volunteer too late), so did my best to create a brief blurb to get the word out.&#xD;

most of that stuff is made very far away from locally&#xD;
don't want to burst any bubbles&#xD;
but let's be real&#xD;
support local artists &#xD;
and artists who produce over seas&#xD;
just don't try and sell it to me as a made locally ethical stance&#xD;
