Re: $2000 raised for Sound-proofing
Wed, June 29, 2005 - 8:50 AMMore sound-proofing parties? I'm in.
$2k is an amazing ammount, I didn't think that much was going to get raised. However, the reality of the situation is that soundproofing a venue costs anywhere from 50,000 - 100,000, but because we're a non-profit its probably going to cost us 10k....so we've got a good start and I think we can pull in that much by the end of the year, making next year open for even more late and loud events.
Thank you Little John, Justin, Alia, Desiree, Ooah, Alex Theory, Color Girl and everyone else who made this nite memorable.
more to come soon, possibly with more hookahs -
