Reclaiming teacher Jeff Alphonsus Mooney will be offering an afternoon workshop August 13th. I can say from experience that he is a brilliantly gifted ritualist, a fantastic drummer and one of the best folks around for raising energy! For those of you interested in a shorter time commitment class or just a little dose of electricity in your life, this might be just the thing.

Invocations of the Ecstatic
with Jeffrey Alphonsus Mooney
Jeffrey Alphonsus Mooney is an artist/activist/ritualist who has been working with the Bay Area pagan group Reclaiming for 15 years. He has taught in Vermont, Missouri, Boston and Canada as well as extensively in San Francisco. He specializes in ritual drumming and singing, and teaching how to raise energy while staying grounded and connected to each other.
WHEN: Satuday, August 13th, 2:00 to 5:00 pm
WHERE: The new DeMoolam space at 848 Divisidero
DESCRIPTION: Workshop will include exercises with body, breath and sound to invoke the ecstatic. Rhythmic presence. Funky joy! Writing/exploring of language into open heart/open mind trance state. Practices to help people find their own creative voice. Plan to have lots of fun.
COST: $35-50 dollars, sliding scale
